Jewish immigrants of the Bnei Menash tribe from the Jewish community in Manipur northeastern India, wait for to reunite with their families as they arrive at Ben Gurion airport near Tel Aviv, on December 24, 2012. Fifty members of this Indian Bnei Menashe community arrived to join 1,700 member who already live in Israel. The Bnei Menashe is a tiny community that claims to have descended from the Manasseh -- one of the Biblical "lost tribes" of Israel, who comprise of around 7,200 members of the Kuki-Chin-Mizo tribe who live in the northeast Indian states of Mizoram and Manipur near the border with Myanmar.
