IRAN-SPACE-MONKEY
An image grab taken from Iran's Al-Alam TV on January 28, 2013, shows an Iranian scientists at an unknown location holding a live monkey strapped into a chair which the Tehran-based Arab-language channel said they sent up into space in a capsule and later retrieved intact. Al-Alam said the monkey was "alive" after traveling to an altitude of 120 kilometres (75 miles) for a sub-orbital flight as part of "preparations for sending a man into space," which is scheduled for 2020.
