Greenpeace researcher Lang Xiyu reveals the results of their investigative work into the fertilizer industry in China at a press conference in Beijing on April 2, 2013. According to Greenpeace, China is the world's largest phosphate fertilizer producer and the industry has left the country with a stockpile of 300 million tons of phosphogypsum, an idustrial by-product that contains a variety of harmful chemicals.
