HAITI-UNREST-US MARINES-PORT 2
Haitian residents of Port-Au-Prince walk past a US Marine (R) waiting to enter the City-s port in Port-Au-Prince 02 March 2004. Marines backed with heavy weapons including surface-to-surface missiles entered the Haitian capital-s looted port that had been held by gangs loyal to ex-president Jean Bertrand Aristide. About 25 Marines arrived at the facility in four Humvees -- two of which sported 50 mm machine guns and two of which were equipped with TOW missile launchers. AFP PHOTO/Yuri CORTEZ
