NETHERLANDS-ROYALS-BEATRIX
Dutch Queen Beatrix is being welcomed by Eberhard van der Laan (L), mayor of Amsterdam as she arrives for the gala performance at the Royal Theatre Carre in Amsterdam, on April 3, 2013, to mark the 125th anniversary of the theatre. Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands announced at the end of January that she would abdicate in favour of her son Crown Prince Willem Alexander after 33 years in power. ANP ROBIN UTRECHT
