Belgian paedophile Marc Dutroux was set today finally to reveal the names of people involved in a shadowy child-sex gang at his trial for abduction, rape and murder, his lawyers said. On the third day of Belgium-s "trial of the century", Dutroux was to take the stand for the first time and, his legal team promised, would shed new light on the traumatic events of 1995-1996 that left four girls dead.
