Members of the South African Health Ministery chat on April 8, 2013 during the launch of the new single dose anti-AIDs drug at Phedisong clinic in Ga-Rankuwa, 100 kms North of Johannesburg. The new pill will simplify the world's biggest HIV treatment regime to just one life-saving pill a day. The new single dose AIDS drug was secured at a record-low price and will cost the state 89 rand a month ($10, eight euros) per patient. After years of refusing to roll out ARVs, South Africa now has 1.9 million people on treatment of its 5.6 million HIV-positive population, which is the world's largest. The new pill will be introduced this month to positive pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers, people co-infected with TB, and to new ARV patients. AFP PHOTO / STEPHANE DE SAKUTIN
