AUSTRIA-CRIME-KIDNAP-PROBE-KAMPUSCH
Joerg Ziercke (C), president of the German criminal police BKA (Bundeskriminalamt), Herbert Anderl (C) former Austrian head of public safety, and Austrian Justice ministry official Christian Pilnacek (R) pose for a picture at the start of a press conference to present the investigation report on the Kampusch case, at the Minister of Interior in Vienna on April 15, 2013. The man who kidnapped Austrian Natascha Kampusch in a case that made headlines worldwide in 2006, acted alone, a new international probe revealed on Monday. The probe, compiled over nine months with help from the FBI and German investigators, was meant to lay to rest repeated allegations over the years that Kampusch's abductor, Wolfgang Priklopil, had an accomplice.
