Honduran Army soldiers patrol streets in Tegucigalpa on April 18, 2013. The Army sourrended Tegucigalpa and Comayaguela to pacify and stop armed robberies on buses. Tegucigalpa, according to a recent statement by the US State Department, "is considered to be the world's most violent city, with 159 murders for every 100,000 residents in 2011".
