SPAIN-LITERATURE-CERVANTES-AWARD
Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy (2nd R), Spain's Crown Prince Felipe (C) and his wife Spain's Princess Letizia (3rd R) arrive at the University of Alcala de Henares, near Madrid, on April 23, 2013, for the Premio Cervantes ceremony. Spain's Crown Prince Felipe awarded Spanish poet Jose Manuel Caballero Bonald with the top literary award for Spanish-language literature. The prize, named after 16th century writer Miguel de Cervantes, Spain's greatest literary figure and the author of "Don Quixote", carries a cash award of 125,000 euros (162,500 USD).
