INDIA-ANIMAL-LEOPARD
An Indian police official holds a pair of leopard cat cubs, which have been rescued from the Chandmari Area of Guwahati on May 4, 2013. The leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalensis) is a small, carnivorous mammal that looks like a domestic cat with a leopard-like coat, and while not on endangered lists is threatened by habitat loss and hunting in parts of its range which extends across south and east Asia.
