(FILES): This August 5, 2012 file photo shows Britain's Andrew Simpson (R) and Iain Percy celebrating on the podium after winning the silver medal in the Star sailing class at the London 2012 Olympic Games in Weymouth, England. A sailor killed when a Swedish catamaran capzied May 9, 2013 while training for the upcoming America's Cup races was identified as Olympic medal-winning Briton Andrew "Bart" Simpson. "It is with immense sadness that Artemis Racing confirms the tragic death of crewmember," said a statement on the America's Cup website, after the accident during training in San Francisco Bay. "Simpson ... was one of the 11-man crew aboard Artemis Racing's AC72 catamaran which capsized during training on San Francisco Bay ahead of this summer's America's Cup. It said he was "trapped underneath the boat and despite attempts to revive him, by doctors afloat and subsequently ashore, his life was lost," adding that all other crewmembers were accounted for. "The entire Artemis Racing team is devastated by what happened," said Artemis Racing chief executive Paul Cayard. "Our heartfelt condolences are with Andrew's wife and family."
