BELGIUM-TRANSPORT-ACCIDENT-CHEMICALS-AFTERMATH
This picture taken on May 12, 2013 shows firemen still at work on the wrecked train in Wetteren on May 11, 2013. IHundreds of people evacuated from their homes after a train carrying highly toxic chemicals derailed and exploded last week are still unable to return. The accident on May 5 sent flames shooting into the sky near the city of Ghent, about 60 kilometres (40 miles) northwest of Brussels. The train contained the chemical product acrylonitrile, a toxic and inflammable fluid that can cause breathing problems. Emergency services evacuated some 2000 residents. One local resident died and in a week, 397 persons were brought to hospital, for intoxication and control. AFP PHOTO / POOL via BELGA - NICOLAS MAETERLINCK
