SUDAN-DARFUR-UNREST-HEALTH

A handout picture released by the United Nations-African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) shows Hawa Ibrahim, mother of six, holding her baby in a new area for displaced families in the outskirts of El-Sereif in North Darfur on May 13, 2013. Originally from Ganjar, Hawa recently abandoned her village after her husband was killed. The fighting over gold mines between Abbala (camel shepherds) and Beni Hussein (cattle shepherds) tribes since January has resulted in the mass displacement of more than 100,000 people, who have mostly fled to El-Sereif, leading to a serious humanitarian crisis.
