NETHERLANDS-CRIME-ARREST
An unidentified man stands on the balcony of a penthouse in Hilversum, central Netherlands, after the police raided the house on May 27, 2013 as part of an investigation into organised crime. Convicted Dutch gangster Willem Holleeder, who gained notoriety for his part in kidnapping beer magnate Freddy Heineken in 1983 has been arrested for extortion in a large-scale police swoop against organised crime in the Netherlands, prosecutors said on May 27. Holleeder, 54, together with six other men and three women were rounded up after more than 450 police and army officers raided homes, businesses, safety deposit boxes and two sport schools in and around Amsterdam.
