HONDURAS-VIOLENCE-GANGS-TRUCE
Monsignor Romulo Emiliani (2-L) and the Secretary of Multidimensional Security at the Organization of American States (OAS), Adam Blackwell (2-R) visit the prison of San Pedro Sula, 240 km north of Tegucigalpa, on May 28, 2013 where members of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) and the Mara 18 (M-18) gangs are being held. Leaders of the two gangs in Honduras, announced their disposition to reach a truce with the mediation of the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Catholic Church.
