TUVALU-OCEANS-ENVIRONMENT-BIODIVERSITY-FISHERIES-FILES
(FILES) A file picture taken on February 22, 2004 shows the pristine waters which surround Tepuka Islet on Funafuti Atoll, part of the Tuvalu Islands, which are now threatening to engulf it as rising sea levels inundate many of the low islands. A French-Tuvalean association released on May 2013 a scientific inventory of fish and seashells from the Tuvalu Islands, to improve the control of fisheries in this independent Pacific Ocean archipelago, particularly threatened by the impacts of the global warning.
