US-SALVADOR-CRIME-GANGS-SANCTIONS

This image released by the US Treasury Department shows six leaders of the Salvadoran gang "Mara Salvatrucha." The Treasury on June 5, 2013 imposed sanctions on the six leaders of the gagng, calling MS-13 one of the most dangerous transnational gangs in the world. The sanctions, which prohibit US entities and individuals from any transactions with the six, "are designed to further disrupt the activities of MS-13 and to protect the US and international financial system from abuse," the Treasury said in a statement. The six included Borromeo Enrique Henriquez Solorzano, known as "El Diablo Pequeno" and "El Diablito De Hollywood", whom the Treasury said is already jailed in El Salvador but is regarded as the MS-13 leader in Central America. The other five are at large: Moris Alexander Bercian Manchon, aka "El Barney"; Jose Misael Cisneros Rodriguez, nicknamed "Half Million"; Marvin Geovanny Monterrosa-Larios, Moises Humberto Rivera-Luna, and Saul Antonio Turcios Angel. == RESTRICTED TO EDITORIAL USE / MANDATORY CREDIT: "AFP PHOTO / US DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY / NO SALES / NO MARKETING / NO ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS / DISTRIBUTED AS A SERVICE TO CLIENTS ==
