(FILES) This photo take non September 4, 2010 shows Hong Kong flagged Nordic Barents carrying 40,000 tonnes of iron ore leaving Kirkenes in the north of Norway on route to China via the Arctic Northeast passage. Due to global warming ice is melting rapidly in the Arctic region, opening up for a new shorter shipping route between Europe and Asia.
