SAFRICA-MANDELA-PEOPLE
Nelson Mandela's daughter Zenani Dlamini (R) and other relatives arrive at the MediClinic Heart Hospital in Pretoria, on June 15, 2013, where former South-African president Nelson Mandela has spent a week receiving treatment for a lung infection. South Africa's President Jacob Zuma said on June 13, 2013 after a hospital visit that the health of the country's first black president "continues to improve but his condition remains serious". One of Nelson Mandela's bodyguards accused his medical team of isolating the ailing icon as he continued to receive hospital treatment for a lung infection. According to Shaun van Heerden, a member of the elite presidential protection police service, the team led by the army Surgeon-General Vejay Ramlakan has long imposed strict visitor controls for Mandela.
