On June 11, 2013, the Canadaian Football Association lifted the ban on the weraing of turbans during matches. However, players must comply with five conditions to wear a head covering on land: the turban "must be the same color as the shirt", "in accordance with the professional appearance of the player's equipment" , "should not be attached to the suit," and "should not be hazardous to either the ball carrier or others."
