FRANCE-HEALTH-PHARMA-DRUGS-FILES
A picture taken on June 9, 2013 in Paris shows a box of Furosemide medicine, a generic diuretic produced by Israel's drug maker Teva Pharmaceutical Industries. France's drug watchdog on June 20, 2013 ended a 13-day alert over a diuretic used to control dangerously high blood pressure among the elderly after two persons who took the pills died. On June 7, the National Medicines Safety Agency (ANSM) suspended sales of two batches of 40mg doses of Furosemide Teva, fearing that some packets accidentally contained sleeping pills.
