NETHERLANDS-ANIMAL-NATURE

Biologist Jaap Mulder (R) and collective manager of Naturalis Steven Van der Mije study on July 8, 2013 the remains of an animal at the biodiversity centre Naturalis in Leiden, Netherlands. Mulder is 98% sure that the animal, killed and found besides a road in Luttelsgeest on July 5, 2013, is a wolf. If Naturalis and the German Senckenberg Institute conducting the DNA tests confirm that the animal is a wolf, it will be the first reappearance of the animal in the Netherlands in 150 years.
