US-SPACE-CASSINI-WAVE-AT-SATURN
Jason Kendall (R), instructor at William Patterson University, uses a tablet computer to find Saturn in the sky before a group gathered at Columbus Circle to "wave at Saturn" July 19, 2013 while the NASA Cassini probe orbiting Saturn takes a photograph of the ringed planet and Earth. The main science goal is to take a mosaic image of the Saturn system to look at the more diffuse rings that circle the planet and check for changes over time, Earth will appear as a small dot in the background of the image. A previous mosaic of the system was taken in 2006. AFP PHOTO/Stan HONDA
