SPAIN-ARCHAEOLOGY-ATAPUERCA

A handout picture released on July 24, 2013 by EIA (Atapuerca Research Team) shows the restored scapula of a Homo antecessor dating back at least 800.000 years, which was discovered in 2005 at the Gran Dolonia site, part of the Archaeological Site of Atapuerca, in the Sierra de Atapuerca, province of Burgos. Archeologists said today they have found a flint blade dating back 1.4 million years in the caves of Atapuera in Spain, the earliest of a human presence at the site. AFP PHOTO /EIA / JORDI MESTRE
