INDIA-CHILDREN-HEALTH-ILLNESS-HYDROCEPHALUS
Twenty-one month old Roona Begum rests at her residence while surrounded by relatives, following her discharge from a hospital in the outskirts of New Delhi and arrival at their home in Jirania in the northeastern Indian state of Tripura, on August 2, 2013. Doctors allowed a one-year-old Indian baby to go home after nearly four months of treatment to correct a rare disorder that caused her head to double in size. Roona Begum and her parents left New Delhi and headed home to a remote region of India's northeast after surgeons declared that her health had significantly improved. AFP PHOTO/ARINDAM DEY
