PAKISTAN-UNREST-ATTACKS-US-QAEDA-FILES
TO GO WITH Pakistan-unrest-attacks-US-Qaeda,ANALYSIS by Damon WAKE
(FILES) This file still image from video provided on October 26, 2012 by Site Intelligence Group shows Egyptian-born Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri speaking in a video, from an undisclosed location, released by Al-Qaeda’s media arm, as-Sahab, and titled "Zawahiri Calls for Continuing Egyptian Revolution, Questions Morsi." As Al-Qaeda marks its 25th anniversary this month, analysts say the recent security threat in Yemen shows the organisation's centre of gravity is shifting away from its historic base in Pakistan. Zawahiri assumed Al-Qaeda leadership when Osama bin Laden was killed in a US special forces raid in Pakistan in 2011 and the 62-year-old Egyptian is believed to be hiding in the border region with Afghanistan.
