NZEALAND-POLITICS-GAY-MARRIAGE
Actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson (2nd L) and partner Justin Mikita (L) arrive in Auckland with newly weds Lynley Bendall (3rd L) and Ally Wanikau (C) and their children following their arrival in Auckland on August 19, 2013 after making history celebrating the legalisation of same-sex marriage in New Zealand by saying “I do” in the skies on a flight from Queenstown to Auckland. Dozens of same-sex couples said "I do" as New Zealand became the first Asia-Pacific country, and only the 14th in the world, to legalise gay marriage. Vows were exchanged in venues ranging from an airliner cruising at 30,000 feet (9,150 metres) to a historic bath house as gay men and women took advantage of the law change.
