This long-exposure photograph taken on August 18, 2013 from Levante (or East) beach in La Linea de la Concepcion shows the Rock of Gibraltar. Spain ceded Gibraltar to Britain in perpetuity in 1713 but has long argued that it should be returned to Spanish sovereignty.
