NETHERLANDS-HISTORY-WWII-VUGHT-CAMP

A picture taken on August 21, 2013 shows the Barrack 1B at the Dutch National monument Camp Vught, The Netherlands. The last-surviving barrack of the former SS-concentration camp Vught during World War II was used after the war as housing for German evacuees and Dutch collaborators and, from 1951 on, as housing for Dutch Molluccans (from the Moluccas, aka the Maluku Islands, an archipelago with Indonesia). This National Memorial is being restored and will reopen its doors this fall with an exhibition dedicated to the Dutch Mollucans. AFP PHOTO / ANP / ROBIN VAN LONKHUIJSEN
