US-SYRIA-DEFENCE-GRAVELY
This photo released by the US Navy shows the guided-missile destroyer USS Gravely (DDG 107) arriving on June 11, 2013 for a visit at the port of Souda Bay in Greece. US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel on August 24, 2013 strongly suggested the Pentagon was moving forces into place ahead of possible military action against Syria, even as President Barack Obama voiced caution.
