The head of the UN Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) and special envoy of the UN secretary-general, Martin Kobler (C), gives a press conference on August 28, 2013 with MONUSCO spokeperson Madnodje Mounoubai (L) and MONUSCO police chief Abdoullah Wafy at the headquarters of the UN peacekeeping mission in Kinshasa. UN attack helicopters joined Congolese government troops in an operation on August 28 against rebels in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the UN peacekeeping force said.
