Investigative journalist, software developer and computer security researcher Jacob Appelbaum attends on September 5, 2013 the first hearing of the European Parliament's civil liberties committee inquiry on electronic mass surveillance of EU citizens by the US National Security Agency at the EU headquarters in Brussels.
