SPAIN-POLITICS-ECONOMY-CHILDREN-SCHOOL
An activist of Andalusian Union of Workers (SAT) wearing a shirt reading "Neither people without homes nor houses without residents" distributes school supplies to children living in squatted buildings in Sevilla on September 8, 2013. On August 30, more than 200 activists of the left-wing group SAT filled 10 carts with school materials, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers and dictionaries, and took them from a supermarket to redistribute goods to families affected by the recession. All the families have moved in to an abandoned building project -renamed "Corrala Utopia" by its residents- after they were evicted from their homes when they failed to pay their rent or mortgage.
