US Army veteran Jack Jordan(lower), 1st Ranger Battalion (1/75th Ranger Battalion at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA), now from Parkville, Missouri, pay their respects in the 911 Memorial at the Pentagon during the evening September 9, 2013, in Washington, DC. The permanent outdoor memorial is for the 184 men and women who died as victims in the Pentagon and on American Airlines Flight 77 that was hijacked and crashed into the Pentagon during the September 11, 2001 attacks.
