FRANCE-SCIENCE-OFFBEAT-AWARD
Laurent Begue, director of the Inter-university psychology laboratory (Lip) poses on September 4, 2013 in his office in Grenoble. The Lip was awarded on September 11, 2013 by the Harvard university with an IG Nobel, which honours achievements "that first make people laugh, and then make them think". The prizes are intended to celebrate the unusual, honor the imaginative — and spur people's interest in science, medicine, and technology.
