ARGENTINA-BEATIFICATION-BROCHERO
Cardinal Angelo Amato, representing Pope Francis, offers an open air mass for the beatification of Argentine Father Jose Brochero (1840-1914) --aka "the gaucho priest"-- in Cordoba, Argentina on September 14, 2013. Brochero was a blind leper Argentine priest who traveled on a mule across the country's vast pampas to minister to the poor.
