(FILES) -- A file picture taken on July 25, 2007 near Boretto shows the desiccated bed of the Po, a river that flows 652 kilometers eastward across northern Italy, from Monviso (in the Cottian Alps) to the Adriatic Sea near Venice. Starting on September 27, 2013, six years after their last diagnosis on global warming, climate experts of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will present their new state of affairs: an increasingly alarming wakeup call in preparation of the 2015 expected climate agreement.
