US-MILITARY-FUNERAL-VIETNAM
Brad Andre (C), son of the late US Air Force pilot Major Howard Andre, receives an American flag from Brig. Gen. Brian Killough (R) during a burial service for his father and fellow pilot Major James Sizemore at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia September 23, 2013. Sizemore and Andre were killed on a night armed reconnaissance mission over Laos when their A-26A Invader aircraft crashed on July 8, 1969, during the Vietnam War. In 1993, a US and Laos investigation team reached the site of the crash but were unable to find any human remains until 2010. In April, military scientists confirmed the remains matched the two pilots. AFP PHOTO / Saul LOEB
