TO GO WITH STORY BY ALFONS LUNA
(FILES) In a file picture taken on September 1, 2011 the principal cast of a new London theatre show 'Backbeat' (L-R) William Payne ('George Harrison'), Oliver Bennett ('Pete Best'), Daniel Healy ('Paul McCartney'), Nick Blood ('Stuart Sutcliffe') and Ruta Gedmintas ('Astrid Kirchherr') walk across the famous zebra crossing at Abbey Road in homage to the Beatles' legendary album cover in London. London locations immortalised on album covers remain destinations for musical pilgrimages. It was outside the Abbey Road recording studios at 11.35 am on August 8, 1969, that the Beatles strutted purposefully from one side of the street to another, for the cover of what would be their final album as a group.
