FRANCE-LITERATURE-ASTERIX
French cartoonist and author Albert Uderzo (C), coauthor with French Rene Goscinny, of the popular comic book Asterix, poses with writer Jean-Yves Ferri (L) and designer Didier Conrad (R), the new creators of the album "Asterix chez les Pictes" (Asterix and the Picts) after a press conference in Paris on October 2, 2013 for the release of the book relating the adventures of Asterix (model foreground), a diminutive moustachioed warrior battling the Roman occupation of his native Gaul, or ancient France. it is the first time Uderzo does not participate in the creation.
