BELGIUM-US-TUNISIA-QAEDA-EXTRADITE-FILES
(FILES) -- A file photo taken on September 30, 2004 shows Alleged Al-Qaeda militant Tunisia's Nizar Trabelsi arriving at the Brussels Palace of Justice to introduce a summary procedure against the Belgian State to protest his sentence. Trabelsi, who was arrested just two days after the September 11 attacks in 2001, was sentenced to 10 years in jail in 2003 for plotting a suicide truck bombing against a Belgian air base where American troops are stationed. Belgium extradited the Tunisian former professional footballer turned convicted Al-Qaeda fighter to the United States on October 3, 2013, the justice minister said.
