An Egyptian man and his son inspect the inside of the Coptic Christian Anba Abraam monastery, that was damaged during an attack by Islamist men the previous month in the town of Delga in the central Egyptian province of Minya, some of 400 kilometres south of Cairo, on September 29, 2013. On August 14, mobs of Islamists unleashed a wave of violence in Delga -- attacking Coptic homes, centuries old churches and terrorising Christian families, forcing more than 100 Christian families to flee their homes, some leaving the town after the attack.
