JAPAN-WEATHER-TYPHOON
This October 8, 2013 NASA Terra satellite image shows Typhoon Danas between Korea and Japan. Danas is expected to pass through the coastal city of Busan early on October 9. Packing winds of up to 180 kilometres (112 miles) per hour near its center, Danas was churning northwest towards the southern Okinawa island chain October 7, and was expected to reach a point off the western coast of Kyushu island by early October 9.
