AUSTRALIA-NAVY-MILITARY
A band performs while marching past the Sydney Town Hall during a combined navies parade on George Street in the central business district of Sydney on October 9, 2013. The parade was part of the International Fleet Review events, celebrating the centenary of the first entry of the Royal Australian Navy?s fleet into Sydney Harbour on 4 October 1913. Sydney plays host to a week of maritime celebrations, including aircraft fly-pasts, helicopter display teams, marching bands and firework displays, with many of the visiting warships here, from countries including Britain, Singapore, Japan and the United States, open to the public.
