PHILIPPINES-US-MILITARY
A Filipino Marine (R) teaches US Marines how to make different traps during a survival training excercise on how to survive in tropical jungles, at a Naval Reserve in Zambales, north of Manila on October 10, 2013. The US and Philippine Marines have been conducting joint exercises in the Philippines for three weeks as the two countries discuss how to boost the US military "rotational" presence in the Philippines with more visits by US troops. The Philippines is seeking US support to bolster its defences in the face of increasing aggressiveness by China over territorial disputes in the South China Sea. AFP PHOTO / Jay DIRECTO
