This undated handout photo received on October 15, 2013 shows seabird ecologist Dr Barbara Weinecke Adelie at an unidentified location in Antarctica. Weinecke set off from Hobart on October 15, 2013 with a research team from the Australian Antarctic Division and some 600 tonnes of cargo for its annual scientific mission this Antarctic summer, which typically runs from October through to April, for an archaelogical dig of abandoned penguin sites, excavating ancient scat to determine how their diets have changed over time and what implications that could have for the management of Southern Ocean fisheries.
