An Indian paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) officer said Pakistan Rangers allegedly opened fire at Pargwal post in Akhnoor sector at the Line of Control (LOC). The defacto border between India and Pakistan, known as the Line of Control (LoC), in the disputed territory of Kashmir has been tense most of the year with both sides blaming each other on more than 100 occassions of violating a ceasefire that has largely held since 2003.
