GERMANY-SOUTH AFRICA-ART-MY JOBURG
The works "Security" (L, 2006-2013) by Jane Alexander and "Wish you were here" (R, 2010) by Mary Sibande are seen during a preview of the exhibition "My Joburg - The Johannesburg Art Scene" on October 25, 2013 at the Kunsthalle im Lipsiusbau museum in Dresden, eastern Germany. The exhibition running from October 26, 2013 to January 5, 2014 presents works by some 50 artists. "My Joburg" was organised by La Maison Rouge – Fondation Antoine de Galbert, Paris, with the support of the National Art Council (NAC) of the Republic of South Africa and the Institut Francais.
