US-HURRICANE-SANDY-ONE YEAR
A clock at the Madelaine Chocolate Company in the Rockaway section of the Queens borough of New York October 24, 2013 during the first day back at work for workers one year after Hurricane Sandy hit the region. The clock stopped at 6:38 pm EDT on October 29, 2012 when power was lost at the factory the night the storm hit. The chocolate company's factory and warehouse suffered extensive damage and were able to rehire 120 workers out of a total of over 400 as repairs continue. AFP PHOTO/Stan HONDA
